Sealing Sealant
A, Primary sealing for structural insulating glass
The Butyl sealant is a one part polyisobutylene PIB-based material, totally solvent-free especially formulated for use as the primary seal in double sealed units. PIB allows for minimum water vapour and gas permeation.
The P.I.B butyl sealant has excellent adhesion properties to glass and metal spacer systems and can be used together with conventional secondary sealants.
It works for the edge of spacer frame by PIB machine, the sealant can be removed from glass without any pollution on the glass.
Product advantages
1.Very low moisture vapour transmission rates (MVTR) and gas permeability rates.
2. Properly constructed dual-seal units incorporating the PIB butyl sealant will retain argon insulating gas and maintain a dry interior unit airspace for decades.
3.PIB butyl sealant able to be used with most commercially available silicone, polysulphide or butyl hot melt insulating glass secondary sealants.
4.Without any smell
B, Secondary sealing for structural insulating glass
It was Two-component silicone, neutral, room temperature curing, high modulus of silicone building sealant, when using the A and B components in accordance with the provisions, mixing ratio, curing reaction into A cold resistant, heat resistant, no corrosion of the elastomer. Resistant to ozone, ultraviolet resistance and other good climate resistance, it can applied to most building materials, such as glass, aluminum, steel surface can produce good stick relay.
Product advantages
1.Two-component, neutral cure and 100% structural silicone.
2.Adjustable cure speed. Suitable for both automatic and batch insulating lines.
3. High modulus and low vapor transmittance
4. Wide range of temperature tolerance. Excellent weather durability.
5. Compatible well with other weatherproof sealant and structural sealant.
